Abioye Tosin Lawrence began his journey as a writer about a decade ago, contributing actively across several youth-focused platforms. What started as a passion for storytelling and civic engagement gradually evolved into a broader media vision, leading to the creation of OrionFrame in 2020 during the COVID-19 period, and later the establishment of OrionTimes, now a registered online platform.




Through years of covering events across different West African countries, Tosin developed a wider editorial perspective and gained firsthand insight into the realities, aspirations, and challenges confronting young people on the continent. These experiences laid the foundation for a more structured and impactful media initiative.



OrionTimes Studio was therefore conceived as more than a conventional media outlet. It stands as a platform dedicated to civic orientation, youth empowerment, and the strategic repositioning of African youth toward greater opportunities, awareness, and meaningful societal impact. The studio reflects a commitment to not only informing audiences but also inspiring participation and responsibility in public life.



Designed for broader and more engaging media interaction, OrionTimes Studio will function as a dynamic production hub for diverse visual content. 



Its programming will include interviews, panel discussions, debates, documentaries, and talk shows featuring thought leaders, policymakers, creatives, and community voices from across the region.



By blending informative dialogue with compelling visual storytelling, OrionTimes Studio seeks to move beyond event reporting to actively shaping conversations and amplifying under-represented perspectives. This multi-format approach positions the studio as a vital bridge between the media and society, promoting transparency, education, and meaningful social interaction in an increasingly digital age.
