ADC Debunks ‘Fake Court Suit’, Reaffirms Support for National Congress Committee

...Ondo ADC Chairman Dismisses Alleged Suit as Non-Existent

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ondo State has firmly dismissed reports of a purported lawsuit challenging the constitution of the party’s Congress Committee, describing the claim as false, misleading, and a deliberate attempt to destabilize the party.

In a statement issued by the Ondo State Chairman, Barrister Wole Ademoyegun,


the party clarified that no such suit exists at the Federal High Court, Abuja, contrary to circulating reports.

Barrister Ademoyegun stressed that he was neither consulted nor involved in any legal action against the decision of the National Working Committee to constitute Congress Committees across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

He described the claim as a calculated move aimed at creating confusion, disrupting party activities, and undermining the authority of the party’s national leadership under the guidance of Senator David Mark.

“This alleged suit is fake and a distraction targeted at destabilizing the leadership of our great party,” the statement read.

Reaffirming the party’s position, the Ondo ADC leadership expressed full alignment with the decisions and processes initiated by the National Working Committee, emphasizing its commitment to unity, transparency, and due process.

The statement further highlighted the importance of maintaining peace and cohesion within the party, particularly as preparations intensify for the forthcoming Congress.

Barrister Ademoyegun urged party members and the general public to disregard the unfounded claim in its entirety, assuring that the ADC remains focused on delivering a credible and successful Congress nationwide.
