Comrade Saheed Adeyeye Abiodun, popularly known as Ajfat Agro, has called for equity and fitness in the representation Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo Otin Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.
He spoke candidly while appearing on a popular podcast titled LERO TEMI with Mukhtar Ajelogbon in Osogbo where he highlights the importance of picking credible candidates who truly understand and serve the people by the political parties especially candidates from Odo Otin Local Government in the 2027 election.
According to him,
“It's crucial to choose an indigene of Odo Otin who is respected and genuinely accepted by the community.
“We must prioritize someone virtuous, someone who listens, understands the needs of the people, and shows pity for the common man. Wealth or status should never outweigh integrity.
"However, all the political parties must prioritize fairness and equality in their arrangements. The tickets should be given to any competency candidate within the Odo Otin Local Government to represent our Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives in 2027."
Ajfat Agro emphasized that enforcing unpopular candidates or returning the tickets to the same local government representing us for a long time will only discourage voter participation. “Even if a candidate lacks resources, we are willing to provide support, as long as they are someone we know, trust, and who has a heart for service, particularly within Odo Otin Local Government” he added.
Comrade Saheed Adeyeye stresses that leadership in Odo Otin should be about character, service, and connection to the people, not personal gain or influence.
