Osogbo APC Leaders Demand Probe Into Alleged Assassination Attempt on Ataoja

…Say Monarch's Claim Exposes Adeleke's Gross Incompetence, Loss Of Security Control Of Osun The leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osogbo, Osun State capital, on Sunday demanded probe into the alleged assassination attempt on the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji. The party leaders noted that the Ataoja's assassination claim has further exposed Governor Ademola Adeleke's gross incompetence, ineptitude and total loss of the control of the state security. They called on security agencies to beam their searchlight and investigate the alleged assassination attempt on the monarch as part of efforts to unraveling the circumstances surrounding the monarch’s claim. The party specifically urged the National Security Adviser (NSA), the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and other relevant security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. New Year: Ojelabi Abiola Tenigbola Foundation Urges Nigerians To Uphold Values Of Shared Humanity

As Nigeria steps into a new year, the Ojelabi Abiola Tenigbola Foundation (OATF) extends heartfelt New Year greetings to the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to the Visioner and Founder of Ojelabi Abiola Tenigbola Foundation, Ms. Ojelabi Abiola Tenigbola, the New Year presents a sacred opportunity for reflection, renewal, and recommitment to the values that uphold our shared humanity. At OATF, we believe that every Nigerian—woman, man, and child—carries inherent dignity and God-given worth, and that a nation truly prospers when it protects this dignity and actively prevents harm.

"In the year ahead, we call on families, communities, institutions, faith leaders, men, and young people to recommit themselves to:

- Upholding human dignity in homes, schools, workplaces, and public spaces

- Rejecting all forms of sexual and gender-based violence

- Raising boys and men as protectors, allies, and advocates for justice

- Creating safe environments where survivors are believed, supported, and restored

"OATF remains steadfast in its mission to restore God-identity, prevent harm, and raise a generation of spiritually grounded, emotionally healthy, and purpose-driven individuals. We reaffirm our commitment to partnering with stakeholders across Nigeria to build systems of prevention, accountability, healing, and hope.

"As we journey into this New Year, may Nigeria experience renewed compassion, strengthened values, responsible leadership, and collective courage to confront harm wherever it exists.

"On behalf of the Board, partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries of the Ojelabi Abiola Tenigbola Foundation, we wish Nigeria peace, dignity, justice, and divine guidance in the New Year."

BREAKING: Esa-Oke Youths Reunite as Survivors, Caution Pelumi against revisionism

....we’re not your campaign slogan Once upon a glorious, chaotic 2017, practically every able-bodied youth in Esa-Oke held honorary title in the land: Personal Assistant to Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi. No interviews. No pay. Just passion, blind loyalty, and the stamina to chase him from one campaign ground to the next like a political body double. From Comrade Mainframe to Comrade Swiss, from Yinka Oba to the humble football boys who carried cones like national flags, we were there. We were the movement. Until, of course. Now in 2025, Barrister Pelumi, clearly inspired by a Netflix political drama is on a media tour telling anyone who’ll listen that he "settled everyone who worked for him." Settled who, please? Maybe in his dreams or in the metaverse. In the real world, the story’s a bit different. Those of us from Obokun, who hustled day and night, got exactly zero: no thank you, no handshake. Take Sami, now a former Ward 7 councillor, no thanks from Pelumi. Folusho? Aregbe...

Assassination Attempt: Police can’t deny what’s on their desk, says Amotekun boss

The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps , High Chief Dr Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele , who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital following an attempted assassination on his life on Monday, has strongly refuted the claims made by the Osun State Police Spokeperson regarding the incident. Reacting to the statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who claimed that investigations had not commenced because the Commander had not provided evidence of the attack, the Amotekun boss expressed deep disappointment, labeling the police response as insensitive and misleading. "It is shocking that a police spokesperson would say there is no evidence of an attack when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ota-Efun Division — the nearest jurisdiction to the incident — was immediately informed," the Commander said. "Officers from that division visited the scene the same night, assessed the damage, evacuated the vehicle, and advised me to seek ...
