Global Outage Hits Amazon Web Services, Disrupting Major Apps Worldwide

A major outage at Amazon Web Services (AWS) has caused widespread disruptions across several popular apps and platforms globally.

Services such as Canva, Snapchat, Fortnite, Robinhood, and Roblox were temporarily down on Monday following what Amazon described as a “network configuration issue” affecting key regions.

The outage, which lasted several hours, left millions of users unable to access essential tools for communication, finance, and entertainment.

AWS later confirmed that services had been restored, but analysts say the incident underscores the growing dependency of global infrastructure on a few cloud providers.
