Suspect Arrested in Minnesota Lawmaker Shooting Case





A manhunt ended Tuesday after authorities arrested Vance Boelter, 57, in connection with the shootings of two Minnesota state lawmakers. The Saturday attack left one lawmaker’s spouse dead and another lawmaker wounded.

According to the criminal complaint, Boelter has been charged with second-degree murder. Officials revealed that he was disguised in a rubber mask and impersonating a police officer at the time of the shootings. Investigators also discovered a notebook listing about 70 potential targets, including both lawmakers involved.

Authorities have not yet disclosed a motive, but the list suggests the attack may have been planned and politically motivated. The investigation is ongoing.
