Biden Diagnosed With Advanced Prostate Cancer

Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, his office announced Friday.

Doctors say the cancer is “hormone-sensitive,” which allows for effective treatment options.

The diagnosis follows the discovery of a small nodule on his prostate during a medical examination last week.

Biden, 82, left office in January as the oldest president in U.S. history. Persistent concerns over his age and health were key factors in his decision not to seek re-election.
