In a major realignment shaking Osun’s political base, grassroots heavyweight Iseoluwa Omole and leaders from Ward 10, Ilare Ijesa, have officially parted ways with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Their defection comes in the wake of Hon. Oluwole Wole Oke’s rece

nt exit from the PDP, following extensive consultations with stakeholders in the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency.

The move signals a swelling tide of support for Wole Oke’s political blueprint, with local influencers rallying behind his renewed vision under the APC banner.


Oke, an influential federal lawmaker and Chair of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, cited internal discord and a quest for transparency as key reasons for his departure.



This growing exodus from the PDP reflects a deeper shift in Osun’s grassroots dynamics—one that could reshape the 2025 political calculus.

Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the officer and the driver along Eagle Roundabout by Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State.
