The attention of Hon. Wole Oke’s constituency office has been drawn to recent allegations made against Lead British International School (LBIS), specifically claims regarding staff dismissals and coercion related to political affiliations.

These allegations, if left unaddressed, could lead to confusion and misinterpretation of the facts. It is therefore important to clarify the situation and set the record straight.

Lead British International School (LBIS) is a private educational institution that has always operated with the singular focus of providing quality education. It is not, and has never been, a political organization. The school is led by a professional management team dedicated to the well-being of its students and the advancement of education. Decisions regarding staffing and administration are based solely on professional qualifications, performance, and the needs of the institution—never on political grounds.

Hon. Wole Oke, the founder of LBIS, has been a strong advocate for educational excellence. However, it is important to note that he is not involved in the day-to-day management or running of the school. The operations of LBIS are handled by a dedicated team of administrators, ensuring that the school’s focus remains on the welfare of its students and staff. Therefore, any claims of political interference in staffing decisions at LBIS are unfounded and misdirected.

It is unfortunate that recent reports have made serious and unverified claims about Hon. Oke allegedly coercing staff into political actions. These allegations are categorically denied. Hon. Oke has never instructed any staff member of LBIS to engage in political activity as a condition for continued employment. It is also important to emphasize that LBIS has not dismissed any employee for political reasons.

Any employee who has resigned or been dismissed has done so for reasons entirely unrelated to their political affiliations. The integrity of LBIS as an educational institution is paramount, and any suggestion otherwise is an attack on its core values.
